Going back to when I adopted Lisa, one of my older cats was going into a decline. I knew my other cat needed a friend. He was scared of everything and needed a calmer cat to be with. The older cat was named Dusty, sometimes rusty dusty. I adopted him when he was middle aged, a year unknown. He was signed over to the vet, and the vet called me. He was a sweet boy. I had him for around 10 years. The scaredy cat was Sam, sometimes called Slam Dunk Sammy. Due to his habit of leaping into the air with his toys and slamming them onto the floor. He was a long lean cat. I tried to teach him to drop his toys through a hoop, but he just looked at me with that expression of, look what the stupid human is doing. What will they try next?
