 Dogs are living beings. Not objects of possession. I’m not accusing, just saying that because too many people get dogs for those kinds of wrong reasons to get and have dogs and it winds up being a horrible situation for the dog(s). Here are some breeds that come to mind: My #1 suggestion because Heelers (as they are commonly known) are in my opinion underrated. If they have a lot of room to run and roam they’re amazing dogs. They’re not well behaved and very good dogs in a small home or apartment. If I personally had a farm or ranch I would definitely have at least 1 Heeler if not a few of them. They’re awesome, high-energy, all-purpose dogs that are great in large open areas. They’re great cattle dogs, good guard dogs, and have a wonderful, loving, affectionate, playful personality.
